| Non grosse novità ma sempre meglio di niente: il commento di un attore/wrestler/body builder che ha ricevuto una copia della script del film: John Rambo 4 by Sylvester Stallone - An early edit of the script I was able to get a copy of the script to read, and yes as the photo shows it is written by Sylvester Stallone as in the previous Rambo and Rocky films and in this case I also believe he is producing and directing it himself....
Now, even though I have not signed any confidentiality agreements or made any promises to the Rambo production team (I have not met them), I will not be giving away the story or the script too much as I do not want legal trouble (in case anyone is paranoid enough to pursue or threaten).
With that out of the way I can say that the script involves Rambo going into Burma to rescue trapped Christian missionaries (aid workers).
Opening Scene In John Rambo IV - No Surprises Here I can also say that the ending was rather different to what I was expecting but it ties everything up nicely.
The story itself is in typical 1980's action movie style with reluctant hero, who happens to be incredibley deadly with a range of weapons and typical story line progression with no big surprises - just action mixed with a little suspense.
Being a Sylvester Stallone movie I am sure it will be a hit, if it was the same story acted by someone else I doubt they could pull it off realistically as a lot of John Rambo emotions are shown with his eyes and little talking.
River boats, enemy soldiers, explosions, tanks, action it is all there.
But now both you and I will have to wait until the movie is released to see how much the script changed since the early version I read and then see what the editing room did to the script.
PS. The reason I was keen to lay my hands on the script and read it was to see if there is a potential part for me, I was planning on flying up to Chang Mai for a week to hang out and meet people but there is nothing in the script that I could play at all. And I have just been signed to Som Tam (read next post) Link all'articolo
